Reviews and Ratings
The Ramada by Wyndham Jordan/Beacon Harbourside Resort is a wonderful spot for a getaway. The rooms on the ground floor with sliding doors to the lakeside are cooled to perfection, offering a mix of challenges. Service is top-notch with incredibly kind and courteous staff. The location is good for a short escape, despite needing better management. The dining experience at the Beacon is awesome, especially the delicious Tuscan bread. Overall, a great value for a short stay.
Upon entering the hotel, I found the rooms to be warm and inviting, although some areas seemed a bit neglected. Unfortunately, my room wasn't ready until 4 pm, which was a downside. The service was good, but at times, there weren't enough staff members for personalized attention. The location was exactly what I needed for my journey across Ontario, with convenient access to wineries and the Niagara Region, offering great views of Lake Ontario. The dining experience was excellent, especially the Teppanyaki fish, although I regret not trying the free breakfast. The hotel facilities were basic but acceptable.
The hotel had a mix of positive and negative aspects. While the rooms were spacious and wheelchair-accessible, the lack of toothpaste for purchase and issues with heating were drawbacks. The service was friendly and accommodating, yet there was an inconvenience with a credit card charge. The location, although near local attractions and vineyards, was marred by a run-down appearance and noisy guests. The dining experience was varied, ranging from disappointing options to exceptional offerings. The facilities provided offered a range of experiences for guests to enjoy.
The hotel is in a great location for a quick getaway, offering amazing views and proximity to Hamilton airport in Niagara. The rooms, however, were disappointing and dirty, not living up to the expectations of a 'queen suite'. The service was inconsistent as the restaurant staff were sometimes overwhelmed, leading to less attentive service.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and had a good shower, but they were in need of a refurbishment and fresh paint. The service was friendly and accommodating, making my stay enjoyable. The location was convenient for exploring the area, with easy access to vineyards and local attractions. However, the dining options were limited and overpriced for what was offered.
The hotel was on the lower floor and had a musty smell, but the view was lovely. The staff added an 18% gratuity to our bill without clear justification. The location was excellent with easy access to local attractions, although sitting by the lake was not possible. The breakfast was warm at best.
